So You Have A Beautiful Lash Set.. Now What??
Proper aftercare will give you the most out of your lash set. Luckily, maintenance is pretty simple, just follow these instructions…
-
Avoid getting them Wet? Nah! Not with our sets!
We hear this all the time and yes, we admit, back in the day to was advised to keep your extensions from getting wet for the first 24hrs after service. Why? The lash adhesive used has a ingredient called CYANOACRYLATE. When this lil gal is exposed to moisture it starts the curing process. Exposing the adhesive to too much moisture too soon can cause shock curing with a weaker bond. Why doesn’t this 24hr rule not apply to us? We use glue that its created to create a flexible bond. On top of that we use a bonder to finish off your service and make your set virtually waterproof. Who wants to wait to wash their face anyway?

Avoid Picking Or Pulling
This one is important! Just like the hair on your head, your natural lash sheds. You lose approx 3-5 lashes a day. When you manually pull out a lash, it can take the bulb up to 3 months to reproduce a new natural lash. This creates damage and gaps and probably some tears. If anything is uncomfortable with your set let us know and we will fix the issue asap.
-
Avoid Mascara And Lash Curlers
If you feel you still need either of these things, we haven’t done our job! If you ever have anything you’d like to change about your set, fuller, tighter curl, longer etc. Let us know at your next fill and we will be happy to help you achieve the look you are after.
-
Brush Your Lashes
Throughout the day, you may notice your extensions are not looking 100%. Sometimes fans close or classics sit funny. Use your clean lash spoolie to gently brush your set from the top and underneath. You may notice you need to do this more often when it is getting closer to your fill time. Lucky, we give you spoolies in a special case so you can have one on you at all times.
-
Shampoo Your Set
The best thing you can do for your lashes is keep them clean. We sell a beautiful lash shampoo and specialty brush made especially for lash retention. We personally love shampooing ours in the shower for less of a mess. We apply a full pump of shampoo directly on our closed eye and use our brush up and down our set and our entire lid. Stick our faces right under the running water to rinse. Voila! Clean lashes. P.s Do this once a day, especially if you are wearing makeup.. life happens we get it so at least once every two days and we’d still be happy. P.S.S You can then let your set air dry then brush out, or blow dry on cool only.
-
Avoid Heat
We use a faux mink & silk blend of lash extension. They have a tapered tip to give them a natural look. Try to avoid heat as much as possible because those pin thin tips love to singe. Not pretty. Some heat to avoid is: Cigarettes, Stove/Oven heat, bonfire, hot blowdryer settings, the firey depths of hell.. you get the idea.

Book Those Fills
There’s nothing worse than being agape mess THEN remembering to book your next fill and having to wait. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
